You can shop downtown at nationally renowned home decor shops, antique centers, and vintage clothing stores. Classic delis, hip tapas lounges, breakfast eateries and fine dining of every cuisine are here. The downtown district is a short walk from NJ TRANSIT and to the boardwalk & beach.
MAIN STREET/WESTSIDE
Main Street and the west side have long-featured ethnically diverse bakeries, markets and restaurants with international aromas from El Salvador to Sicily and beyond. Long-time favorite music venues are here as well as retail shops and resources for home renovations. You will find everything from rehabilitated bicycles to fine architectural millwork.
A SAINT PATRICK’S DAY PARADE IN ASBURY PARK?
The Asbury Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade has become an annual event in Asbury Park! The 2018 Asburyfest welcomed over 20,000 fans to our city the first weekend of September and Asbury Park is the two time Guinness World Record holder for “Largest Gathering of Zombies”. SPRINGTIME IN OUR CITY
After the lull of winter passes, Asbury Park begins to bloom in early spring. The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will kick off spring fever in March followed by the Restaurant Tour in April and Memorial Day weekend.
